Last year, we were overjoyed to see the videos and photos families shared with us — little faces lighting up as they opened an envelope straight from Santa’s Mailroom at the North Pole. Those moments are what this project is all about: creating memories that make Christmas feel truly magical.
As the owner and designer behind Kempain Family Outfitters, I (Jordan Kempain) handcraft each letter personally. From carefully printing each child’s name to dripping the red wax seal by hand — that’s my favorite part — every detail is made to feel authentic and filled with Christmas spirit.
When the wax cools and the reindeer seal sets, it feels like sending a little bit of the North Pole itself out into the world.
Our Family Tradition — One Gift from Santa
At our house, we have a simple Christmas tradition: our son receives just one gift from Santa.
It’s something we started early on — not because we wanted to give less, but because we wanted that one gift to feel truly magical. When he wakes up and sees that single, beautifully wrapped present with Santa’s name on it, it feels special and real, like something straight from the North Pole.
We also do it for another reason close to our hearts. Not every family is blessed with the same number of gifts under the tree, and we never want another child to feel like they were “less good” because Santa brought them fewer presents. One gift keeps the magic kind, fair, and full of wonder.
To make it even more authentic, we recommend choosing a solid-colored wrapping paper — something non-descript that becomes “Santa’s special wrapping” year after year.
