Chet’s Rules of the Wild: Rules #6 - 10

OUTDOORS • SURVIVAL HUMOR

Here are Chet's Rules 6 - 10. Chet's fashion sense is on point, and his advice is top-notch. You'll get a kick out of Chet's Rules of The Wild! Check out all the videos on our YouTube Channel. Give us a follow for weekly shorts from Chet. Don't forget his fashion and accessories are all available here at Kempain.com. Check out rules 1 - 5 here.

Rule #6: If you only know how to buy pre-packaged meat at the grocery store… you’re not built for survival. Hunting is the ultimate test of skill.

This rule is a nod to all bow hunters who know what it takes to put meat in the fridge. Not everyone has what it takes!

Take a look at Chet's favorite bow hunting shirt here.

Rule #7: The woods don’t forgive careless campers. Leave trash behind, and the forest will collect. Maybe it’s a squirrel raid in your attic, maybe it’s the Bear Crew tearing up your car. Either way—you’ll regret it.

It’s sad that this rule needs to be said...but we still see trash left behind. Respect nature or Chet and his buddies might pay you a visit!

When Chet is trying to intimidate he wears his Roaring Bear T-Shirt here :)

Rule #8: Know the locals. Out here, the mosquitoes bite, the ticks burrow, and the raccoons steal your lunch. Check for ticks or insects on your body!

This rule is for the New Englanders out there that know how little critters can really ruin your day but it applies to any trip. Always know the wildlife and critters of the area so you know how to be safe. Big or small your stepping into the local wildlife's territory and you better know who you’re dealing with!

Rule #9: Don’t hand out snacks unless you’re ready to be dessert. Trust me, nobody packs enough trail mix to bribe a bear.

Really though...don't feed wildlife. It’s not good for anybody. Feeding wild animals might seem harmless, but it teaches them to rely on people instead of foraging and can spread disease or lead to aggression. Respect the wild by keeping your snacks — and your distance.

Check out Chet's matching waves and timber line Camping Mug and Tee here.

Rule #10: When the humans wear orange, stay outta the spotlight. Unless you’re smart like me — then you accessorize to blend in.

Wear orange during hunting season folks. Wear a blaze-orange vest or gear during hunting season; unique designs are fine so long as they meet visibility safety standards. This rule is pretty easy to follow, and if you want to wear a unique style check out what Kempain Family Outfitters has to offer in orange.

Psss...there is also phone cases available if you want to accessorize.
