18oz Waxed Canvas: A heavyweight, weather-resistant fabric that provides a natural barrier against the elements. Unlike synthetic coatings that flake over time, this canvas develops a protective patina.

LWG Gold-Rated Leather: We use thick, vegetable-tanned US steerhide sourced from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG). This ensures the highest international standards for environmental and sustainable practices.

Marine-Grade Polyester Thread: Every seam is bound with UV and weather-resistant marine-grade thread. It is the same standard used in sails and deep-sea gear, engineered to resist rot and tension.

Industrial Hardware: Featuring an antique brass #10 YKK heavy-duty zipper. This is the "over-engineered" standard for smooth operation under heavy loads.

Nylon Interior Lining: The interior is finished with a tough, cleanable 430D nylon lining, ensuring the inside of your bag remains as disciplined and durable as the exterior.

Leather Care & Longevity
To ensure your leather gear survives the rigors of the trail and the daily commute for a lifetime, follow these simple steps:

Clean Regularly: Wipe away dust and grit with a dry, soft cloth after a long day. For deeper dirt, use a damp cloth and a mild saddle soap, but always follow with a conditioner.

Hydrate & Condition: Every 6–12 months (or if the leather feels dry), apply a high-quality leather conditioner or salve. This "feeds" the fibers, keeping them flexible and preventing cracks.

Natural Drying: If your gear gets soaked on the trail, let it air dry naturally at room temperature. Never use a hair dryer or heater, as artificial heat will strip the natural oils and cause the leather to become brittle.

Embrace the Patina: Scratches and "sunburning" from the trail are part of the story. Most light scuffs can be buffed out with the oils from your own thumb, but deeper marks are simply badges of honor.
