The Artisan Window: Every piece of Farmhouse Pottery is handcrafted in small batches in their Woodstock, Vermont studio. Because this intentional process prioritizes quality over speed, please allow a standard fulfillment window for our artisans to prepare your order with care before it enters transit.

Standard Shipping: Once your provision is ready, it is dispatched via Standard Shipping. We offer Free Standard Shipping on all orders over $150.

Fragile Handling & Breakage: We pack our pottery with extreme care, but the trail can be rough. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately through our Order Support Form with photos of the damage so we can provide a swift replacement.

The Handmade Promise: Because these items are hand-thrown, each piece carries subtle variations in form and glaze—the "mark of the maker" that makes your provision unique.

There is something deeply satisfying about the grain of New England Ash beneath a freshly baked loaf of bread.

This handcrafted board is designed to bring authentic farmhouse charm to the modern kitchen. Bridging the gap between a rugged prep tool and a refined serving platter, it is equally at home slicing a warm baguette or displaying an arrangement of local cheeses and crackers.

We chose this piece for its honest construction. Each board is crafted from 100% sustainably grown and harvested New England Ash, a wood prized for its durability and striking grain patterns. To ensure it remains a heirloom-quality staple in your home, it is finished with a food-safe tung oil stain that enhances the wood's natural character while providing a protective, matte finish.

The Studio Process

100% American Made Every board begins as a selection of premium Ash hardwood, chosen for its strength and visual appeal.

  1. Hand-Shaping: The boards are cut and sanded by hand to create a smooth, functional surface that highlights the natural wood grain.
  2. Tung Oil Treatment: Each piece is hand-rubbed with a food-safe tung oil stain, which penetrates deep into the fibers rather than sitting on the surface.
  3. Final Curing: The boards are allowed to cure naturally, ensuring a safe and durable finish that is ready for immediate use in your kitchen.

The Handmade Promise

The Mark of the Maker Because these boards are crafted from natural timber, the wood finish and color will vary slightly from piece to piece. You may notice unique grain swirls or subtle shifts in tone—these are not flaws, but the fingerprints of the tree and the artisan. This ensures that the board on your table is unlike any other.
