The Maker’s Pace: Every provision from Bluecorn Candles is handcrafted in their Montrose, Colorado workshop. Because these items are poured with care by a small team of artisans, please allow a standard fulfillment window of 1–3 business days for your order to be prepared before it enters transit.

Standard Shipping: Once your candles are ready, they are dispatched via Standard Shipping.

Bluecorn Specifics: We offer Free Standard Shipping on all Bluecorn products for orders over $100.

Mercantile Standard: For all other provisions, our site-wide Free Standard Shipping applies to orders over $150.

Fragile Handling: We take extreme care in the packing and delivery of our candles to ensure they arrive in pristine condition. In the rare case that your order is damaged on the trail, please contact us within 30 days so we can coordinate a swift replacement.

Bluecorn Candles is a Kempain Family favorite because they still stick to the old ways. These are not mass-produced or machine-extruded; they are hand-dipped using traditional methods, cooled and dipped repeatedly to build up solid, resilient layers of 100% pure beeswax.

Solid Pure Wax—Never Coated Many tapers on the market are merely dipped in a thin coat of beeswax over a toxic paraffin core. This 4-pair bundle guarantees completely solid, paraffin-free tapers crafted in Colorado. They offer a soot-free, non-toxic burn with a naturally purifying honey scent and a warm, golden glow—a timeless, sustainable addition to your table or homestead.

Specifications:

Process: Traditional Hand-Dip (Layered for strength and a drip-free burn)
Material: 100% Pure Beeswax with an unbleached, lead-free cotton wick.
Burn Rate: Approximately 1 hour per inch of length.
Origin: Handmade in Colorado since 1991.

Taper Care (The "Pro" Trick): True traditional tapers require different care than modern pillar candles.

The "Pro" Trick: Unlike other candles, do not trim the wick before re-lighting! The long, curled wick is designed to be lit as-is to consume the wax efficiently. Trimming it too short will cause unnecessary dripping.
Draft-Free Dining: To ensure a drip-less burn, keep lit tapers away from fans, open windows, or AC vents.
Extinguish: Use a snuffer or wet fingers to extinguish the flame, minimizing smoke and preserving the wick.
