The Maker’s Pace: Every provision from Bluecorn Candles is handcrafted in their Montrose, Colorado workshop. Because these items are poured with care by a small team of artisans, please allow a standard fulfillment window of 1–3 business days for your order to be prepared before it enters transit.

Standard Shipping: Once your candles are ready, they are dispatched via Standard Shipping.

Bluecorn Specifics: We offer Free Standard Shipping on all Bluecorn products for orders over $100.

Mercantile Standard: For all other provisions, our site-wide Free Standard Shipping applies to orders over $150.

Raw Golden Beeswax Pillar Candles | 100% Pure Cappings Wax

Bluecorn Candles is a Kempain Family favorite because of their uncompromising commitment to sustainability and the incredible, natural aroma of their raw wax.

Unbleached, Naturally Scented Light Unlike mass-market alternatives, these pillars are crafted from 100% pure cappings beeswax that is only lightly filtered. By avoiding heavy filtration and chemical bleaching, the wax retains its stunning natural golden hue and a sweet, air-purifying honey scent. Hand-poured in Colorado and finished with a lead-free cotton wick, this is a sensory experience that synthetic fragrances simply cannot replicate.

Burn Estimates:

2" Wide: ~12 hours per inch of height
3" Wide: ~15 hours per inch of height
4" Wide: ~30 hours per inch of height (The 4x8 size offers up to 240 hours of light)

Candle Care (The "Rules of the Burn"): Real, raw beeswax burns differently than synthetic paraffin. Follow these size-specific rules to prevent tunneling, eliminate dripping, and maximize your burn time:

2" Pillars (The Short Burn): Burn for 1 hour maximum at a time to prevent the wax from breaching the edge and dripping.
3" Pillars (The Standard Burn): Burn for at least 3 hours per session to ensure the melted wax pool reaches all the way to the outer edge.
4" Pillars (The Marathon Runner): Burn for at least 6 hours per session. This extended burn is required to melt the wide diameter and avoid tunneling.
The "Hug": For 3" and 4" candles, gently mold the warm wax edges inward after extinguishing the flame. This ensures every ounce of pure beeswax is consumed.
