Meet Jordan Kempain

Jordan Kempain is the founder of Kempain Family Outfitters and has been designing and illustrating professionally since 2009. He began his career at a marketing agency, executing complex visual strategies and managing digital and print assets for corporate and non-profit clients in Connecticut, New York City, and Washington, D.C.. A graduate of the University of Hartford’s Art School, Jordan earned his BA in visual communication design with a minor in illustration.

Beyond the digital canvas, Jordan is an active outdoorsman—participating in hunting, fishing, archery, and skiing—passions that inform every stroke of his pen. He lives in Putnam, Connecticut, with his wife, Sarah, and their son, Stephen. His illustration work is also featured in children’s books, including Naughty, Cira and Mike and the Magic Marble.
